In the nineties, Comefri started to be present on Chinese market through Hong Kong distributors / partners.

At that time, sales in mainland China were only performed through Hong Kong, without any direct contact with final Chinese customers. One of the first direct sales on Chinese territory took place in 1997, with the direct supply of fans in SKD form to a big multinational company.
This was of course a temporary solution. In 2000 Comefri started a partnership with a local company, which bought fans in SKD, to be then assembled in their facility and delivered to final customers.

By mid 2004, a Joint Venture between Comefri Spa and this local partner was established. The name of the Joint Venture was Guangzhou Tiankai-Comefri Industries.

In October 2007, Comefri SpA took over the Joint Venture with the full acquisition of partner’s shares, transforming therefore the company in a Fully Owned Enterprise, Guangzhou Comefri (China) Industries Co. Ltd.
Soon afterwards, the factory was moved in Huadu (Guangzhou), n° 8 Jinghu Road, Xinhua Street, the main office remaining in downtown Guangzhou.

Nowadays, Guangzhou Comefri (China) Co. Ltd. is soundly the Asian hub of Comefri Group, not only in China but also in Korea, Australia and a vast part of Far East.
