Comefri - Aeolus4 and IE3 motors

We are happy to announce the release of a new version of our selection software Aeolus, the Aeolus4.

Its new features can be summarize as follows:

Fully portable: no need to launch an installer to have it on your P.C. or your Windows based tablet.
User friendly: a selection can be made in four clicks. Selection of the correct electric motor and transmission are now automatic.
IE3 motors are already embedded, in accordance with the Energy related Products directive (ErP 2015) (*)
It automatically highlights the fans with the shortest delivery. (Quick Delivery program)

Our mission (Fans of Energy Saving) is the continuous improvement of our products, with special attention to energy saving and environment safeguard.

In this perspective , we have recently enlarged our range of NPA and NPL aluminium impellers, with the introduction of four new sizes (200 and 225 for NPL, 250 and 280 for NPA), extending the Plenum NPL / NPA family launched in 2006.

The main advantages of the aluminium versions are:

Corrosion resistant (for marine use) and fully recyclable

Light ( their weight is 50% of the weight of a steel equivalent)

High efficiency (up to 73% , with tolerance Class 1 following DIN 24166/ISO 13348)

Our plenum fans, equipped with aluminium impeller and IE3 electric motors will be available through our Quick Delivery program, by 1st October 2014.

(*) The second step of the Energy related Products directive (ErP 2015) - together with the condition to use IE3 motors , in alternative to IE2 motors + inverter (FVD), imposed by the new norms on electric motors (for powers ≥ 7,5kW) - allows Comefri to propose IE3 motors starting from 0,75kW, which are already available on stock! This option is particularly profitable if we make a comparison with the use of IE2 motors + inverter
